Marist Alumni on Youtube 03/09/2012
We heard from two of our Marist Alumni this morning, sharing their post-Marist successes with us. Thanks to websites like Youtube, we can help share their successes with all of you! If you have videos that show our alumni in action, feel free to send a write-up and a link to sbarth@marisths.org, so we can share your success with the Marist community. Tate McCurdy, ('11) Tate recently served as Director of Photography for the student film "Connectivity" in his studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design. While Tate has always had a great artistic eye and video production talent, its fun to see him succeeding on a whole new level. Watch his latest student project below. Great job! Nick MacKinnon ('10) Nick MacKinnon ('10), recently spent a weekend in LA, performing with his University of Portland ROTC group in a national rifle competition. Nick is the second from the left, a bit offset behind his teammates (initially). Fortunately, he is NOT the teammate absorbing the brunt a particularly prickly Marine drill sergeant’s commentary. In the past year, we have heard from several credible UP sources that Nick has ascended to “Most Eligible Bachelor” status, providing a refreshing rebuttal to the notion that nice guys finish last. Nick remains his humble self, though he does acknowledge that wearing the ROTC uniform on campus does have its perks. Add Comment Marist Magazine: Winter 2012 Issue 02/15/2012
